Q:  How do I map data into my Excel spreadsheet?

A:  To map data into your spreadsheet your spreadsheet must first be running within a Nobilis process. Once you have loaded the spreadsheet from a link within your email, click on the NobilisCi menu at the top of Excel. If a menu item named Variable Mapping is available, click on it. Otherwise, if a menu item named Design Mode is available, click on it and then click on the NobilisCi menu at the top and then on the menu item named Variable Mapping. If Variable Mapping is not an available option as this point, you do not have permission to map data in Excel. If Variable Mapping is available to you, then you should now see the Variable Mapping dialog box. To map data to a cell, click on a variable from the list of variables in the list box. Then click on the Maps To button and select a cell from the spreadsheet. Click on the button to return to the Variable Mapping dialog box. Finally, click Add to create the link.
