SAP embraces ProcessWriter for Excel product strategy with announcement of Mendocino

SAP and Microsoft's announcement of a new development effort that will utilize the Netweaver process management technology to make MS Excel the enterprise front end to the SAP eco-system yet again demonstrates ProcessWriter's vision and leading position in the market.

SAP and Microsoft have now announced product development plans to make Excel part of the enterprise application framework of SAP and other enterprise application data. This week, both companies announced a joint development effort called Mendocino which will link Excel to the SAP eco system via the Netweaver process platform.
